Pathway 03 · For Work

Flans for Work

Bringing custard into a professional environment is a privilege and a responsibility. This pathway covers the business case for flan, the genuine duty of care you take on the moment you bring one in, the etiquette of the shared kitchen, and the surprisingly fraught question of whether you should ever bake at the office at all. Warm, practical, and entirely serious about other people's wellbeing.

Course 01

Introducing Flan to the Workplace

Wobble ●○○○○

Custard is a change-management exercise like any other. Bring people with you, and do not surprise the building.

Course 02

Dietary Duty of Care

Wobble ●●○○○

The most important course in this pathway. The moment you offer food to colleagues, their safety and comfort are partly in your hands. We take that seriously, and so should you.

Custard Safety note. This course is parody, but the principle is real: when feeding other people, label allergens honestly and never pressure anyone to eat. See Custard Safety and the bright lines in the Custard Constitution.
Course 03

Office Etiquette

Wobble ●●○○○

The unwritten laws of communal custard, written down at last. Most workplace flan disputes are failures of etiquette, not of baking.

Course 04

The Office Oven Question

Wobble ●●●○○

Whether to actually bake flan at work, as opposed to bringing it in. A question with more wrong answers than right ones.
